Full Job Description Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while efficiently handling all aspects of the guest experience, including check-in, check-out, reservations, and addressing guest inquiries and concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner. Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently. Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications. Answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly. Handle guest requests and resolve concerns to ensure guest satisfaction. Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding guest needs and room status. Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Prepare daily reports and complete required front desk documentation. Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills; experience with hotel property management systems is a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Professional appearance and positive attitude.
