Job Description

Overall Responsibilities:
We are searching for an experienced front desk associate who is committed to enhancing our strong foundation of success. The entire Gateways team must understand and implement the standards that our guests have become accustomed to. Job Duties & Qualifications (to include, but not limited to): Demonstrate and promote the Gateways Inn and MillTown culture, always positively representing the Company. Embrace teamwork within the inn, creating a positive work environment. Responsible for answering phones, taking guests to their room, carrying luggage, helping guests with their needs. Working with restaurant staff to communicate the dietary and special requests of guests who dine with us. Provide guests with professional and immaculate service. Maintain a professional appearance and relationship with both guests and staff. The position requires 1 year of hotel/food and beverage experience, preferably in a high-volume environment. Evening and day hours, weekends, holidays. Process check-in and check-out, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests Knowledge of hotel property, local attractions to assist guests. Compliance with Federal & State Labor laws Ensure that all complaints regarding service and/or accommodations are investigated and resolved Ongoing analysis of processes for continuous improvement/efficiency Coach and support front office team to effectively manage occupancy, guest service, and controllable expenses Identify service issues and trends. Facilitate creative solutions to overcome obstacles and insure continuous guest satisfaction results Maintain STRICT key controls and safety and security standards.

Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
