Front Desk Agent (Part-Time, Evening Shift)
Location:
Olde Tavern Inn & Motel, 151 RTE 6
A, Orleans, MA Schedule:
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Part-Time, specific days to be discussed) Job Overview We are looking for a welcoming, reliable, and detail-oriented Evening Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the face of the Olde Tavern Inn & Motel during our peak arrival hours, you will welcome guests, manage checking in and out, and ensure everyone has an exceptional stay. This shift is perfect for someone who thrives in a independent role, loves interacting with travelers, and enjoys keeping things running smoothly through the evening.
Key Responsibilities Guest Check-Ins & Welcomes:
Warmly greet arriving guests, verify reservation details, process payments, and issue room keys.
Reservation Management:
Handle walk-ins, phone inquiries, and updates within our property management system.
Guest Services:
Act as a local guide—provide recommendations for dining, local attractions, and directions. Handle guest requests or room needs promptly and professionally.
Shift Transition & Audit Prep:
Keep the front desk tidy, log any notable events for the morning crew, and prepare basic shift-end reports before the night audit begins.
Property Oversight:
Conduct occasional walkthroughs of the lobby and common areas to ensure the property remains secure, welcoming, and orderly.
What We Are Looking For The Right Attitude:
Outgoing, empathetic, and naturally inclined to help people.
Reliability:
Because this is an independent evening shift, being punctual and dependable is absolute priority.
Tech Savvy:
Comfortable learning hotel booking software and handling basic computer tasks.
Problem Solvers:
Ability to stay calm and resourceful if a guest issue or unexpected detail arises.
Experience:
Prior customer service or hospitality experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person with the right attitude.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
