Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front Desk Clerk, where your energy and enthusiasm will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and guests, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our resort or hotel operation, creating memorable stays for every guest. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management software. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and a solutions-oriented attitude. Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, providing accurate information or transferring calls as needed. Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest information, and billing details. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are resolved swiftly. Assist with night audit procedures, reconciling daily transactions to ensure financial accuracy. Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue opportunities. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve our diverse clientele effectively. Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is preferred. Knowledge of hospitality best practices, including guest relations, phone etiquette, and front desk procedures. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required for shift coverage. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest loyalty.
