Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a part-time 2nd shift Front Desk Agent and become the welcoming face of our hospitality establishment! As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, managing check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring every visitor feels valued and cared for. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable experiences for our guests during evening hours, contributing to the overall success of our resort or hotel. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills while working in a vibrant, fast-paced setting. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through friendly and professional customer service. Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and a solutions-oriented approach to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details while adhering to phone etiquette standards. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly and maintain high standards of guest relations. Conduct night audit procedures, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy at the end of each shift. Assist with guest services such as providing local information, arranging transportation, or handling special requests to enhance their stay experience. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is highly preferred; hotel experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are advantageous. Knowledge of hospitality management principles, including night audit procedures and guest relations strategies. Excellent phone etiquette skills with experience managing multi-line phone systems in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to handle guest concerns professionally while maintaining a positive attitude. Familiarity with resort or hotel operations, including front desk functions and guest services.
