General Manager or Front Office Manager Position Overview The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from arrival to departure. This role requires professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments to maintain the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and efficiency throughout the hotel. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner at all times. Perform accurate and efficient check-in and check-out procedures using the hotel's property management system. Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally, following established communication standards. Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a focus on resolution and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, front desk, and public areas, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Assist the breakfast attendant as necessary, including replenishing supplies and supporting guest needs during peak periods. Communicate and coordinate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure timely completion of work orders, room readiness, and service requests. Provide assistance with laundry operations as needed, adhering to cleanliness and quality standards. Accurately process payments, balance cash drawers, and complete end-of-shift reports in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all brand standards, company policies, and health and safety regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field is a plus. Previous front desk or customer service experience is a bonus but not required. Experience with PEP or Hotel Key property management systems is a bonus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional appearance and demeanor. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds. Capability to perform light cleaning and laundry duties as required. Your performance will be reviewed after 90 days to ensure you are supported in your role and on track for continued success.Pay:
