Innkeeper - Join Our Team in Michigan's Premier Coastal Town! Work steps from the beach in the heart of Saugatuck! BeachWay Resort & BaySide Inn are seeking a driven, efficient, and team-oriented Innkeeper to help create a seamless, welcoming experience for our guests. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and works just as well independently as they do with others.

Please Note:

This position requires overnight stays as part of your shift, as well as weekend and holiday availability .

Qualifications:

Strong sense of initiative and follow-through Ability to work collaboratively and support team members Food prep or cooking experience a major plus Guest service and hospitality experience Comfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced environment Basic computer and phone proficiency Multilingual abilities are a plus!

You enjoy problem-solving on the fly, take pride in your work, and always look for ways to improve systems and service. You're reliable, adaptable, and ready to roll up your sleeves when the team needs support.

Preferred Background:

Experience in food handling, cooking, hospitality, or customer service is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Managing guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs Assisting guests in selecting the right room or suite for their stay Preparing and executing daily brunch buffets or made-to-order breakfasts (BaySide) Responding to phone calls and emails with professionalism and efficiency Keeping thorough records and notes on guest preferences and history Monitoring the property for cleanliness and maintenance needs, and addressing issues promptly Acting as a concierge: coordinating dinner reservations, local activities, and special experiences Preparing in-room amenities for special occasions (e.g., champagne trays, flowers, chocolates) Engaging warmly and professionally with all guests Light housekeeping and cleaning of both guest and common areas Restocking lobby amenities and ensuring supplies are in place Supporting a variety of administrative and team-based tasks as needed If this sounds like you -- we would love to hear from you!
