Job Description

Guest Services-Recreation Team Member Role:
As a part of the Recreation team, you will put your customer service and facilitation expertise to work here at our year-round conference center. In this role you will facilitate recreational activities, provide face-to-face customer service, maintain recreational equipment/grounds and work areas as well as provide guest transportation.

Nestled on a private 200-acre peninsula between Mantrap Lake and Petite Lake in northern Minnesota, Wonewok is an exclusive retreat destination designed specifically for corporate groups and organized retreats. Surrounded by uninterrupted natural beauty and complete seclusion, the property offers an ideal setting for focused meetings, executive gatherings, incentive trips, and team-building experiences away from everyday distractions. With 36 lodge guest rooms and additional nearby cottages, Wonewok combines comfortable accommodations with elevated dining and authentic Northwoods hospitality. Guests enjoy year-round outdoor recreation including fishing, boating, hiking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and curated group activities tailored to corporate retreats and leadership events. What you'll do: Provide instruction for recreational activities such as: Trap, Archery, Boating, Fishing and Snowmobiling Facilitate team building programs and activities Maintain cleanliness/upkeep of all recreation equipment, grounds, trails and structures Work and communicate with other departments to ensure a seamless experience for our guests Assist with seasonal grounds maintenance such as leaves, tree debris and snow removal
Job Requirements:
Experience:
2+ years in customer service, hospitality, recreation, or retail; resort or club experience a plus Must have experience operating watercraft, snowmobiles and small equipment Good communication and organizational skills Must be able to work outside during all seasons. Possess a Valid Class D driver's license with good driving record Basic knowledge of computer operations for simple data entry or information retrieval Benefits Medical and Dental Insurance PTO Competitive Pay 401(k)
