POSITION SUMMARY
The Guest Services Coordinator will coordinate the hospitality team members and processes in the on-site experience of the teams, including team registration, lodging, meals, swag bag, bedding, Silver Dollar City Tickets, White Water Tickets, area attractions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING
Train and develop Guest Services Team Members Act as a liaison between the venue and the guests Provide superior customer service Properly operate cash registers and maintain proper cash handling procedures Distribute collateral materials (flyers, etc.) to cross promote all facility programs; Maintain flyers in facility for parties, distribute to guests, program participants and cross market, as appropriate Effectively collaborate with all Event Coordinator to help ensure accurate and consistent event relevant communication Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by management Act in the role of a pre-tournament concierge to teams. This will include scheduling any potential concierge service for teams and families (i.e. dinners, lake trips, shows, etc.) Handle all team registration duties Ensure all team paperwork is turned in prior to teams arriving on campus Coordinate with food catering provider and team scheduling for meals Handle team concierge duties while on-campus Provide teams with all policies/procedures as it relates to Team Suites Distribute gift bags and apparel to teams and hotels Maintain all partner hotel relationships Assist with retail merchandising decisions and layout Schedule special events for teams staying on our campus Fill-in as needed at the gift shop, concession, and baseball fields All other duties as assigned by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in related field Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Must work well with others Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility Commitment to the safety and well-being of others
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend Must be able to work in varying weather conditions Will be required to operate a computer Facility has intermittent noise
