JOB FUNCTIONS
Greet and assist all visitors, vendors, staff, and members with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude. Promptly notify the appropriate party via phone, email, and/or Teams of arrival of visitor, vendor, or member. Creates a positive first impression by maintaining a welcoming front desk and reception area. Answers internal incoming calls, emails, and messages and responds to general questions or directs inquiries to the appropriate person or department. Assist visitors, vendors, and/or members with check-in procedures, visitor logs, badges, or other process as needed. Receives all incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. Notifies appropriate person/department of arrival. Monitor the lobby and front desk area to ensure they remain organized, presentable, inviting, and secure by following safety procedures. Handle concerns, questions, or minor issues with patience, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset and escalate to the appropriate party. Perform other duties as assigned by Human Resources Manager, Chief Risk Officer, or President. SKILLS Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Consistent positive, friendly, and professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise. Ability to multitask and remain professional.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 or more years of previous customer service, reception, hospitality, or front desk experience. Basic computer and Microsoft Office proficiency.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The position requires the following physical activities within varying environmental conditions: Occasionally remaining in a stationary position which may be standing or sitting for a prolonged period. Occasional travel or moving from one office location to another or from one department to another at the headquarters building. Occasional lifting, moving, or adjusting objects up to 30 pounds. Constant communication with others through various channels including verbal, email, and chat of which the last two may require consistent use of a keyboard and mouse or another electronic device. Work will be in a commercially reasonable temperature-controlled environment. Occasional temporary exterior site review which could be in outdoor elements of wind, rain, or snow.
