Night Auditor/Front Desk Clerk

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, an understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures Manage phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating proper phone etiquette Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction Maintain accurate reservation records and update guest information in hotel management systems Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions securely Assist with night audit procedures as needed, ensuring financial accuracy at the end of shifts Uphold hospitality standards by maintaining a clean and organized front desk and lobby area Support guest relations initiatives to foster positive reviews and repeat business Qualifications Previous experience in front desk operations or guest services preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Knowledge of hospitality management systems and phone systems is advantageous Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus Hotel experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Be willing to help other departments during slow periods Join our team to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences to our guests.
