Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless guest experience during both day and night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a background in hotel management, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for providing exceptional service and maintaining the front desk operations. Responsibilities Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a warm, friendly atmosphere. Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest accounts. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction. Conduct night audits to verify and balance daily transactions, ensuring financial accuracy. Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to assist guests effectively. Operate multi-line phone systems with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest services and overall experience. Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Run night audit at the appropriate time. Set breakfast out and be interactive with the guests. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred. Familiarity with night audit procedures is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Experience with front desk operations in a resort or hotel setting is beneficial. Proficiency in using multi-line phone systems and handling various communication channels.
