Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in creating memorable experiences and ensuring seamless operations at our hotel. This role requires impeccable communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing outstanding hospitality.
Front Desk Agent Responsibilities:
Guest Check-in and Check-out:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with the check-in process, verify guest information, assign rooms, and issue room keys. During check-out, settle guest accounts, process payments, and ensure a smooth departure experience.
Reservation Management:
Manage hotel reservations accurately, including new bookings, modifications, cancellations, and special requests. Coordinate with the reservations department to optimize room occupancy and maximize revenue.
Guest Services:
Provide exceptional customer service to guests throughout their stay. Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously. Offer personalized recommendations for dining, entertainment, and local attractions.
Telephone and Email Correspondence:
Answer incoming phone calls, respond to emails, and handle guest inquiries and reservations via various communication channels. Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor in all interactions.
Information Management:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, services, amenities, and local attractions to provide accurate information to guests. Utilize the hotel management system to access guest profiles, room availability, and other relevant data.
Guest Security and Safety:
Ensure the safety and security of guests and their belongings by adhering to hotel policies and procedures. Monitor the lobby area for any suspicious activity and report any concerns to the appropriate authorities. Coordination with
Other Departments:
Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests, address maintenance issues, and ensure the overall satisfaction of guests. Communicate effectively with colleagues to streamline operations and resolve issues efficiently.
Front Desk Operations:
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk area. Display promotional materials, brochures, and signage as directed. Ensure that all necessary supplies, including key cards, stationery, and informational materials, are readily available for guests.
Bellman/Shuttle:
Transport guests to and from requested locations.
Administrative Tasks:
Assist with various administrative duties, such as filing paperwork, updating guest records, and preparing reports. Follow established procedures for handling guest complaints, incidents, and emergencies. Adherence to
Policies and Regulations:
Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and standards of conduct at all times. Follow industry regulations and compliance requirements related to guest registration, privacy, and security.
Job Types:

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
