Non-Exempt Position Summary The Night Auditor at Hyatt Studios serves as the overnight representative of the hotel, responsible for balancing daily financial transactions while providing exceptional guest service. This dual role ensures both operational and accounting accuracy and a seamless guest experience during overnight hours. The Night Auditor assists with late check-ins, handles guest inquiries, ensures property security, and prepares daily reports for management review. As part of the Hyatt Studios extended-stay environment, this role requires a blend of hospitality, attention to detail, and dependability. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Guest Service & Front Desk Operations
• Provide a warm welcome to guests checking in or arriving late at night.
• Process check-ins, check-outs, and reservations accurately using the property management system (PMS).
• Address guest requests and concerns professionally, ensuring prompt resolution or escalation to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, and common areas during the overnight shift.
• Ensure guest safety and property security through regular building walkthroughs and adherence to emergency procedures.
• Night Audit & Financial Responsibilities
• Balance all daily transactions and reconcile credit card, cash, and room charge postings.
• Run and verify end-of-day reports, including occupancy, revenue, and accounting summaries.
• Prepare and distribute the daily management audit package as required by Hyatt standards.
• Ensure accuracy in postings to guest accounts and resolve discrepancies prior to the morning shift.
• Assist with inventory counts, system updates, and reporting as assigned.
• Operational Support
• Monitor and respond to incoming calls, messages, and emails during overnight hours.
• Coordinate communication with housekeeping and maintenance for next-day priorities.
• Maintain key control procedures and safety logs in compliance with brand standards.
• Perform light cleaning or setup duties as needed to prepare for the following day's operations.

• Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
• Previous front desk, night audit, or accounting experience in a hotel setting preferred.
• Experience with major hotel property management systems (PMS) strongly desired.
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial reconciliation required.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• Strong problem-solving and guest service skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities overnight.
• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, and hotel management software.

• Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
