Four Pillars Lodging Opportunity Summary:
Four Pillars Lodging (FPL) is a growth-oriented hotel management company built on operational discipline, strong service standards, and a guest-first culture. We are seeking a Front Desk Service Representative (FDSR) who will serve as the primary point of contact for guests while supporting the core day-to-day operations that keep the hotel clean, organized, and "guest ready." This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in hospitality, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where guest service, cleanliness, and consistency matter.
Position Summary:
The FDSR is responsible for supporting front office operations and delivering excellent guest service while also assisting with laundry, public area cleanliness, and other operational needs. In a lean-staffed hotel environment, this is a hands-on role that requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to shift between guest-facing and operational responsibilities throughout the day. The FDSR helps ensure guests feel welcome and supported, the property stays presentable, and basic operational tasks are completed consistently and on time.
Responsibilities:
Front Office Operations o Support daily front office operations, including reservations, renewals, check-ins, and check-outs. o Complete and support required front office paperwork and routine reports as assigned. o Follow cash handling and system procedures consistent with property expectations. Guest Experience & Services o Serve as the first point of contact for guests and provide high-quality, service-forward support. o Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs and requests, including special requests (e.g., linen exchanges). o Conduct property tours for potential guests and support closing guest stays when appropriate. o Escalate guest concerns to leadership when needed and follow service recovery standards. Laundry & Linen Management o Complete daily laundry responsibilities including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. o Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area. o Support linen distribution and ensure needed supplies are available across the property. Cleaning & Property Standards o Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas through routine cleaning tasks (e.g., vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing). o Monitor and restock cleaning and guest supplies as needed; communicate low inventory to leadership. o Support overall "guest ready" standards throughout the property. Sales & Marketing Support o Assist with in-house guest sales and local marketing initiatives to increase occupancy. o Represent the hotel professionally with guests and within the community as needed. Safety, Security & Emergency Procedures o Know and follow property emergency procedures. o Support safety and security expectations for guests, associates, and the property; report incidents promptly. Other Duties as Assigned o Perform other responsibilities as assigned, consistent with hotel operations and business needs.
Qualifications:
  • Customer service experience and comfort working in a guest-facing environment.
  • Ability to learn hotel systems and follow standardized processes and checklists.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, service-oriented demeanor.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible work availability is required, inclusive of nights & weekends.
