Job Description

Are you a friendly, detail-oriented person who loves to help others? The Holiday Inn Express Asheville - Woodfin is looking for a Guest Services Representative to be the welcoming face of our hotel. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their stay is seamless and enjoyable from check-in to check-out. This isn't just a desk job—it's a chance to make a real impact on our guests' experience. You'll handle everything from reservations and check-ins to answering questions about local attractions and resolving any concerns that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and professionally, managing the check-in and check-out process efficiently. Handle all guest inquiries, including providing information about hotel services, amenities, and local points of interest. Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments. Process payments and maintain accurate guest folios. Address and resolve guest complaints or issues with a positive, can-do attitude, escalating to management when necessary. Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner. Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a passion for people. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A positive, energetic, and professional demeanor. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
