Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front Desk Clerk, hours will be 6pm to 2 am and sometimes you may be asked to work 10am to 6pm as well. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Your energy and enthusiasm will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing warm welcomes, efficient check-ins, and outstanding customer service. Your multitasking skills and hospitality expertise will ensure smooth operations at the front desk, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning time and again. Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and proactive solutions to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain accurate reservation records, room assignments, and billing information while ensuring compliance with hotel policies. Conduct night audits to reconcile daily transactions, prepare reports, and ensure financial accuracy. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences. Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests and vendors across multiple channels. Assist in coordinating guest services such as luggage handling, transportation arrangements, and special requests. Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to promote a professional environment. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is highly preferred. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a significant advantage for serving diverse guests effectively. Demonstrated customer service excellence in fast-paced environments such as resorts or hotels. Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is desirable. Knowledge of guest relations best practices and hospitality standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Experience handling night audit procedures or working overnight shifts is a plus. Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette are essential for success in this role.
