AM, PM, and weekend/holiday shifts Position Overview The Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel and often the first and last impression for our guests. This role focuses on friendly, efficient service at check-in/check-out, handling guest requests, and creating a welcoming extended-stay experience. Key Responsibilities Greet and check guests in and out with genuine hospitality Process reservations, payment methods, and guest preferences accurately Answer phone calls and respond to guest requests promptly and professionally Provide information on hotel amenities, local area, and directions Assist with minor lobby F&B, sundry shop, and marketplace transactions Support service recovery and follow up on guest concerns Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area Communicate room status and guest needs with Housekeeping and Engineering Follow all cash handling, security, and key control procedures Qualifications Prior customer service experience required; hotel experience preferred Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Comfortable using computers and learning hotel systems Ability to stand for extended periods and handle a fast-paced environment Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Paid time off and holiday pay (for eligible team members) Marriott employee travel discounts Opportunities for advancement (Front Desk Supervisor, GSM, etc.)
