Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, answering inquiries and routing calls efficiently. Handle incoming correspondence, emails, and messages with accuracy and promptness. Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high levels of phone etiquette. Utilize computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace tools, and general computer literacy to complete daily tasks efficiently.
Book rooms over the phone, via email, or in person, and handle modifications or cancellations.
Cash & Billing:
Process credit card and cash payments, compute bills, and balance shift registers.
Communication & Admin:
Answer phone calls, manage emails, and coordinate room statuses with housekeeping and maintenance departments.
Problem Resolution:
Listen to guest complaints, troubleshoot issues (like a malfunctioning key card), and ensure quick, satisfactory solutions.
Local Knowledge:
Provide information regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, dining recommendations, and travel directions. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] Experience Prior office experience or administrative support roles preferred; experience in medical or dental reception is a plus.
