Complimentary Hot Breakfast Buffet, Wireless Internet, Daily Newspaper, and Onsite Convenience Stores are all staples in the Cobblestone Hotels Brand mixing convenience, comfort and extraordinary customer service to create a perfect and relaxing stay. Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.
- Routinely book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.
- Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.
- Ensure proper delivery of guest's special requests (i.e. extra pillows, additional preferences)
- Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Make every appropriate service recovery gesture in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.
- Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, and counting/securing assigned bank.
- Bartend in the Cobblestone Lounge.
- Must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented, and problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external guests.
- Must be able to maintain composure and objectivity while under pressure.
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments.
- Assist with breakfast duties.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel lobby and common areas.
- Performs laundry functions as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required
