  • Hyatt PlacePosition Summary The Front Desk Host at a Hyatt Place hotel is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by providing efficient, friendly, and professional service.
This role serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a weing environment while handling check-in, check-out, and guest inquiries. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience Wee guests with a warm, professional demeanor and create a positive first impression Handle check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner Resolve guest issues with a focus on service recovery and satisfaction Operations Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing procedures Maintain accurate records and ensure all guest information is up to date Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and quality standards Monitor lobby activity and maintain a clean,anized front desk area Customer Service Deliver personalized service aligned with Hyatt brand standards Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations when possible Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience Team Collaboration Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations Communicate effectively during shift changes and team interactions Support a positive team environment and contribute to overall hotel success Qualifications Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred Strongmunication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basicputer skills and familiarity with hotel systems (preferred) Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Key Competencies Guest-focused mindset Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Attention to detail andanizational ability Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to remain calm under pressure Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Occasional lifting of luggage or supplies (up to 25 lbs) Ability to move throughout the property as needed Work Environment This position operates in a front desk/lobby setting with frequent guest interaction. The role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to varying levels of business demand. This position is at a location w Hyatt is not the employer.
