The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The Front Desk Agent will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests at our hotel or resort. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software. Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Assist with night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction. Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages effectively. Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area. Skills Strong background in guest services with a focus on customer satisfaction. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Experience in hotel management or resort operations is preferred. Excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally. Knowledge of hospitality management principles is beneficial. Proficient in customer service techniques to foster positive guest experiences. Familiarity with night audit processes is an advantage. Comfortable using various phone systems and hotel management software.
