Job Description

Position :
Guest Experience Associate Reporting to :
Guest Experience Manager Summary:
We are seeking a team-oriented hospitality professional with an engaging, guest-focused personality to serve as a primary point of contact for guests in the lobby. This position is currently offered as a seasonal, part-time role to support the increased demand The Incline Lodge experiences during the summer season (May-October), particularly on weekends and coverage days. There is flexibility within the role to adjust hours based on both hotel needs and employee availability. The position would typically range from approximately 10-20 hours per week, with schedules varying based on company needs and the individual's availability and existing work schedule. The most common shifts we are currently seeking support for are Fridays through Sundays, generally between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM. However, there is flexibility depending on the individual's personal and professional schedule. We have a small, dedicated team at The Incline Lodge and are looking to hire someone for a flexible support role to help us through the busy summer season.

Opening in early 2023, the Incline Lodge features 38 spacious, luxurious rooms, lively amenity areas, a year-round indoor pool, and the upscale Après Bar & Lounge. Combining style and comfort, our boutique property is meticulously designed to showcase its natural surroundings. The Opportunity:
We are seeking a team-oriented hospitality professional with an engaging, customer-focused personality to be the primary point of contact for our guests in the lobby. The current role we are looking to fill is a part time, seasonal role in our lobby to assist with the guest experience.
Position Requirements:
Guest Interaction :
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate their needs, and express genuine appreciation.
Technology:
Learn our PMS, POS, and hotel operating systems to effectively manage reservations, check guests in/out, and answer associated guest questions.
Bar Support :
Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby bar and be prepared to serve both wine and beer to guests.
Adaptability :
Work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
Professional Development :
Attendance at all training sessions and meetings is required.

Operate the Food & Beverage outlet, adhering to all policies, standards, and procedures. Process guest check-ins and check-outs, adapting to any changes. Tech oriented skillset, ability to manage our internal systems. Secure payments, verify, and adjust billing as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the bar, including stocking ice and glassware. Provide guests with information about rooms, the hotel, and local attractions. Interface with guests to resolve any concerns and ensure a memorable experience. Manage guest feedback and ensure timely responses to both online and written feedback. Ensure security of financial transactions and guest information. Communicate consistently with management regarding operational status.
Job Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years of age. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with a variety of colleagues and guests. Must demonstrate flexibility, attention to detail, and initiative. Must be able to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift objects weighing less than 25 pounds (and more with assistance), and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and walking for long periods. Must be willing to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays, as dictated by guest demand.
