Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Front Desk Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for hospitality. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining high standards of service.
Duties :
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations. Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and provide information to guests. Conduct nightly audits to ensure all financial transactions are accurate. Prepare reports on occupancy, revenue, and other metrics as required. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Uphold hotel policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.

Essential Job Functions:
Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity Promptly and effectively deals with guest requests and complaints Answers and routes calls as appropriate; takes guest messages with accuracy Responsible for cash drawer contents and transactions during shift Maintains accurate records including cash flows, registration card, reservation cards, and property walks Assists with sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager Offers and properly handles requests for wake-up calls Records pertinent guest information in the pass-on log Replenishes continental breakfast as needed and keeps area clean Ensures common area/lobby is clean Performs laundry functions as directed All other duties as assigned What we are looking for: 1+ year of customer service experience 1+ year of hospitality experience Previous experience in front desk operations experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations. Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling various phone systems. Familiarity with hospitality software or property management systems is a plus. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Passionate about hospitality and creating an exceptional guest experience. Ability to handle confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity. Ability to answer and route calls as appropriate; takes guest messages with accuracy. All other duties as assigned. High School degree or better.
