Job Description
Overview A Hotel Front Desk Agent (or Front Desk Receptionist) is responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, checking guests in and out, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive hotel experience. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly customer service Check guests in and out of the hotel Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries Manage room reservations and cancellations Process payments and maintain accurate records Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation Maintain a clean and organized front desk area Required Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Customer service experience Basic computer and reservation system knowledge Ability to multitask and stay organized Problem-solving skills Professional appearance and attitude Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus
