Job Description

Wm. Farmer and Sons, a family-owned and operated establishment in historic Hudson, NY, is seeking Guest Service Agents to join our team!

Nestled in the heart of Hudson, Wm. Farmer and Sons offers a unique blend of hospitality, combining a fifteen-room inn with a renowned farm-to-table restaurant and bar. Our establishment is committed to supporting local farmers and producers, ensuring that our guests experience the finest seasonal offerings the Hudson Valley has to offer. Our cozy, coppery barroom and restaurant are open Monday through Saturday for dinner, featuring craft cocktails, light bites, and a wide range of seasonal culinary delights. wmfarmerandsons.com
Compensation:
Starting at $17 / hr.
Position Requirements:
Experience:
Previous hospitality experience preferred, particularly in a boutique hotel environment
Team Player:
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Multitasking:
Strong multitasking skills to manage various responsibilities efficiently. Responsibilities of this position vary by shift and include but are not limited to: Deliver personal and detailed care of the guests' experience. Book and confirm reservations for hotel and restaurant. Assist guests with luggage. Perform departure and pre-arrival checks. Assist Housekeeping team on high demand days. Inventory and stock of departmental supplies. Coffee Service. Light Grounds Care such as watering plants and leaf blowing. Qualifications Able to provide exceptional customer service to a range of guests, not only meeting but exceeding expectations. Previous experience with Cloudbeds and Resy or comparable PMS/POS systems preferred. Candidates with barista training encouraged to apply. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Services are performed across multiple buildings. Please note that there are no elevators on the property and daily activities does include regular movement up and down stairs.
