In this dynamic role, you will operate the central checkout for Northside Marketplace and help with maintaining our establishment. Responsibilities Operate the central checkout for Northside Marketplace Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Manage POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling Assist with plant care, cleaning, and organizing within the Marketplace Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service and smooth operations Assist with pop-up events and social media (if interested) Qualifications Positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative Proven experience working in a customer service oriented role Willingness to learn in-house POS operation procedures Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Excellent time management skills and a willingness to learn internal procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales calculations Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Please note:

Candidates who are available to work nights and weekends will be given priority . Previous experience in food service, restaurant, retail math, or catering environments is a plus Base pay for this position is $12/hour. Additionally, staff are welcome to a free meal during shifts from NOMZ Restaurant + Bar, and receive a 20% discount when not working (and a 15% friends/family discount)!
