The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality. This position is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, handling guest requests, and providing exceptional customer service in accordance with Marriott brand standards. Responsibilities Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude. Complete guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately. Verify guest information, payment methods, and room assignments. Answer guest questions regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, dining options, and transportation. Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns. Provide service recovery and resolve guest issues professionally. Recognize and acknowledge Marriott Bonvoy Elite Members. Answer phone calls, manage reservations, room assignments, and room inventory. Process room changes, extensions, cancellations, and special requests. Maintain accurate guest records and documentation. Process cash, credit card, and electronic payments accurately. Balance shift transactions and complete required reports. Ensure proper security and confidentiality of guest information. Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams. Report maintenance issues, guest concerns, and operational needs. Assist with daily hotel operations as assigned. Participate in shift change communication and pass-down procedures. Follow Marriott brand standards and hotel operating procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area. Ensure compliance with safety, security, and emergency procedures. Follow all cash handling and loss prevention policies. Qualifications Willing to be trained Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email systems. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts. Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience. Experience with Marriott systems, including FOSSE and MGS. Knowledge of Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program. Experience handling cash and payment transactions.
