Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. Candidates must be willing to work all shifts including nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for guests and maintaining the high standards of our hotel or resort. Candidates with hospitality management experience, multilingual skills, or hotel management background are highly encouraged to apply. Bilingual abilities and previous hotel experience are considered strong assets. The Front Desk Agent will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide excellent guest services throughout their stay Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems Check guests in and out efficiently while verifying identification and payment details Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details Assist with night audit procedures to ensure financial accuracy at the end of each shift Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests and vendors Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction Maintain a clean and organized front desk area in accordance with hospitality standards Qualifications Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests Knowledge of hospitality management systems and multi-line phone systems is advantageous Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally Hospitality or hotel experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights if necessary This position offers an engaging opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality environment where guest satisfaction is the top priority.
