As the first and last point of contact for our guests, this position plays a critical role in delivering outstanding hospitality, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring every stay exceeds expectations. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, dependable, and passionate about providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced hotel environment. Essential Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and throughout their stay. Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently. Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries in a courteous and timely manner. Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns using sound judgment and problem-solving skills. Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and area information. Process reservations, room changes, and special requests. Monitor guest requests and ensure timely follow-up according to hotel standards. Handle guest mail, packages, and express check-ins in accordance with hotel procedures. Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and management teams. Contact newly arrived guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Maintain accurate records and cash handling procedures. Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems (PEP, OnQ, Opera, or similar) preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and guest service skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States. Professional appearance and demeanor. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with assistance. Frequent use of hands and arms for computer and office tasks. Occasional bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and stair climbing.
