This role is vital in providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for guest relations. Experience in hotel management and familiarity with multi-line phone systems are highly valued. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus to effectively serve our diverse clientele. This position offers an engaging opportunity to be the first point of contact for guests and to contribute to the overall guest experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures Manage reservations and room assignments efficiently using hotel management software Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details Operate multi-line phone systems, respond to phone inquiries, and provide information about hotel services Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options Uphold excellent phone etiquette and guest service standards at all times Assist with night audit procedures as needed to ensure smooth overnight operations Support guest relations initiatives to enhance overall guest satisfaction Requirements Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest services best practices Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally Night audit experience is a plus but not required Hotel or resort experience is desirable but not mandatory Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively Join our team at the Independence Hotel where your hospitality expertise will make a difference in creating memorable guest experiences!
