Hotel Reservationist Holiday Inn Cleveland-S Independence - 3.7 Independence, OH Job Details Full-time $15 - $16 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Guest relations Inventory management Inventory records OPERA Associate's degree Inventory tracking Full Job Description Answers reservation calls in a timely and professional manner Possesses knowledge of local area, hotel functions and facilities Maintains positive inter-departmental relations to facilitate timely response to guest needs Coordinates directly with sales and group contact person(s) to ensure proper delivery of group bookings follows through on tentative booking and updates group blocks, etc. Follows through accurately on all bookings with special requests, VIPS, room types and room rates Possesses knowledge of all applicable franchise marketing and national programs and rates Utilizes room inventory management skills to maximize occupancy and follows up on promotional discounts and packages to maximize average rates/revenues Possesses knowledge and understanding of front-office equipment and procedures Monitors and accurately processes travel agency commissions in a timely manner Performs other related and unrelated tasks as assigned by management Position may be hourly or salaried based on experience. Must have extensive knowledge of Opera and Concerto. Minimum of 2-3 years previous IHG experience prefferred. Benefits available after 90 days.
