Front Desk Agent

Front Desk Agent Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information and providing necessary assistance
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and courteously
• Assist guests with reservations, room changes, and other requests
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and empathy, escalating to management when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Perform night audit duties as required

Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of hotel management systems and phone systems
• Strong front desk skills, including check-in/check-out procedures and guest services
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially in languages commonly spoken by hotel guests
• Exceptional hospitality and customer service skills
• Proficient in phone etiquette and handling guest inquiries effectively
• Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
