Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of Avalon Inn and Resort. In this vital role, you will manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handle inquiries, coordinate reservations, and ensure a smooth, positive experience for all visitors. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a warm atmosphere that keeps guests returning. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude. Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, take reservations, and direct calls efficiently. Check guests in and out using computer systems, ensuring accuracy in billing and documentation. Handle guest requests promptly, including room changes, special accommodations, or information about resort amenities. Maintain organized front desk operations by managing files, data entry, and filing systems. Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and proofreading documents. Assist with clerical duties including typing reports, managing correspondence, and supporting customer support efforts. Requirements Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with strong organizational skills. Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry tools. Prior experience working with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette is essential. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest needs effectively. Strong clerical skills such as proofreading, filing, and document management are required. Previous front desk or receptionist experience in hospitality or medical/dental office settings is preferred.
