Full-Time and Part-Time Available Job Summary Cobblestone Hotel & Suites Harborcreek is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent / Guest Service Representative to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience from check-in to check-out. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment. In addition to front desk responsibilities, team members assist with complimentary breakfast service, our small hotel bar, guest services, and light maintenance tasks as needed. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing outstanding hospitality and is willing to help wherever needed to ensure guest satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service during check-in and check-out. Answer and direct incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system. Process reservations, cancellations, room assignments, and guest requests accurately. Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints. Maintain accurate guest records, billing information, and payment processing. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are guest-ready. Promote hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily balancing procedures. Perform night audit duties when scheduled, including financial reconciliation and report preparation. Prepare, stock, and maintain our complimentary continental breakfast during morning shifts. Operate and monitor our small hotel bar/lounge during afternoon and evening shifts in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. Keep breakfast, lobby, bar, and public areas clean, organized, and welcoming. Assist with light maintenance and basic troubleshooting in guest rooms, including replacing batteries, changing light bulbs, resetting televisions, checking HVAC units, and addressing simple maintenance concerns before escalating to maintenance personnel. Conduct routine property walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Assist guests with directions, recommendations, and local area information. Support other hotel departments as needed to provide an exceptional guest experience. Qualifications Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, restaurant, retail, or guest service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable learning hotel property management systems and computer software. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform minor maintenance tasks. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts when needed.
