Guest Service Agent

The Holiday Inn Express in Hummelstown, PA is looking for 2 SEASONAL guest service agents to work a variety of different shifts on the front desk with our 20 person team!

We are looking for:

Temporary (May-September), full-time flex shifts from 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm• Temporary (May-September), part-time night shift from 3pm-11pm on Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays •this position is open to a permanent position on the team, pending necessity Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities consist of:

Attending to the needs of guests, especially during the check- in/check-out processes. Essential job functions, including: providing information to guests about hotel policies, services and amenities. Responding to requests from guests for assistance and information; providing information to guests about the local area (e.g., directions, places to eat); Selling rooms to "walk-in" customers. Entering/changing reservation information on the computer system. Posting charges to guest accounts; explaining charges which appear on guest accounts. Processing payments from guests; making necessary corrections to guest accounts. Informing housekeeping department about room status/availability. Listening for and responding to guest complaints. Operating hotel PMS and texting service; taking messages for guests/employees. Cleaning/Sanitizing the front desk and public areas; maintaining daily logs and balancing shift work and cash drawer. Maintaining the hotel's safety and security standards; meeting hotel standards for guest service and work habits. and other duties as assigned.

Pay:

From $15.00 per hour
