Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front Office Guest Service Representative, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this vital role, you will serve as the welcoming face of our property, providing exceptional customer service, managing guest inquiries, and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes. Your proactive approach and hospitality expertise will help foster a warm, inviting environment that keeps guests returning time and again. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hotel management and guest relations while working in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through friendly and professional interactions. Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, assisting callers with inquiries and reservations efficiently. Check guests in and out accurately using hotel management software, verifying reservations and processing payments seamlessly. Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience. Handle guest requests promptly, resolving issues with a positive attitude to ensure satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of guest stays, billing, and special requests while adhering to hotel policies. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs swiftly and maintain high standards of hospitality. Uphold excellent guest relations by demonstrating professionalism, patience, and cultural sensitivity. Assist with administrative tasks such as managing reservations, updating guest profiles, and handling correspondence efficiently. Experience Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations within a resort or hospitality setting is preferred; but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally at all times. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively. Familiarity with front desk systems (HotelKey IOS Software), multi-line phone systems, and hotel management software is advantageous. Knowledge of hospitality management principles, guest services standards, and hotel operations enhances your effectiveness in this role. Experience with night audit procedures or hotel billing processes is a plus but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills.
