Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests at our newly renovated hotel. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth check-in/check-out processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, be knowledgeable in hotel management practices, and have the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Maintain a spotless and welcoming lobby environment. Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, including handling reservations and payments. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing solutions to enhance their stay. Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available to guests. Handle phone calls using multi-line phone systems, directing calls as necessary while maintaining professionalism. Assist in managing guest relations to foster repeat business and positive reviews. Support the front desk team in various administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele. Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records. A positive attitude, professionalism, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
