Guest Service Associate Innkeeper Property Position Type Compensation Blind Tiger Asheville Part-Time $18.00 / hour Overview Blind Tiger Asheville is seeking a Guest Service Associate Innkeeper to join our team. This hybrid role is designed for a versatile professional who thrives in a boutique hospitality environment. You will be the face of the guest house, providing high-touch service while ensuring the physical space meets our meticulous brand standards. This position maximizes revenue and creates value by providing excellent customer service, including effective reservation sales and handling all guest accounts accurately. A unique component of this role includes supporting our housekeeping team as a Room Attendant when needed to ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment. Key Responsibilities Guest Service & Hosting Welcome and check-in guests in a friendly, efficient manner while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Act as an "enthusiastic steward of hospitality," providing guests with an "insider's scoop" on Asheville's best local spots. Manage the reservations process, monitor emails, and handle all guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism. Set up, maintain, and break down the complimentary breakfast buffet and coffee service. Housekeeping Support (Room Attendant) Perform Room Attendant duties as assigned, including stripping linens, cleaning bathrooms (sinks, tubs, toilets), and vacuuming. Ensure guest rooms and common areas are cleaned to specified standards to achieve high levels of guest satisfaction. Replenish guest supplies and verify that all room features are in good working order. Qualifications High School diploma and/or equivalent work experience. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
