Job Description

Job Summary La Quinta Hotel is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming environment for guests by greeting them with a smile, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a positive guest experience from check-in to check-out. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance departments. Duties & Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and professionally at all times. Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a courteous manner. Provide excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly. Communicate guest requests, complaints, and maintenance issues to the appropriate departments. Coordinate with housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain and restock the coffee station and refreshment area throughout the shift. Keep the lobby, front desk, and guest areas clean, organized, and presentable. Process reservations and update guest information in the hotel management system. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily reports accurately. Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards. Assist with other hotel operations and duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required. Experience with SynXis or other hotel reservation/property management systems is a plus. Comfortable using computers, email, and basic office software. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. What We Are Looking For A naturally friendly and welcoming personality. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
