Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Front Desk Guest Services Representative to join our team. This position works either the overnight shift (6:00 PM - 2:00 AM) or the early morning shift (2:00 AM - 9:30 AM), depending on business needs. On-site accommodations is provided as part of this position , making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to reduce living expenses while building a career in hospitality. Accommodations is provided for the duration of employment and is subject to company policies. This role is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring accurate reservations and financial transactions, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and helping prepare the hotel for the next business day. The ideal candidate is dependable, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently during overnight hours. Responsibilities Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude. Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently. Answer telephone calls and assist with reservations and guest inquiries. Process payments, cash transactions, and maintain an accurate cash drawer. Monitor hotel activity and help maintain a safe, secure environment. Respond professionally to guest concerns and resolve issues whenever possible. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding guest requests and room availability. Prepare and maintain the breakfast area for the morning shift when assigned. Fold laundry and assist with light operational tasks during slower periods. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area. Restock front desk supplies and guest amenities. Complete shift checklists and communicate important information to the next shift. Encourage satisfied guests to share their experience through online reviews. Follow all hotel policies regarding cash handling, guest privacy, and safety. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable using computers and learning hotel management software. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule Typical shifts include:
Night Shift:
6:00 PM - 2:00
AM Early Morning Shift:
2:00 AM - 9:30 AM Weekend and holiday availability is required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to walk the property as needed. Ability to assist with light housekeeping tasks such as folding laundry and breakfast setup. Room Accommodation Accommodation is offered solely as a benefit of employment and must be vacated upon termination of employment in accordance with the Employee Agreement. Employees are expected to maintain the room in a clean, respectful manner and comply with all hotel housing policies.
