Front Desk Guest Service Representative - Part Time

PART-TIME HELP WANTED!

Garner by IHG Brookings, SD is looking for Front Desk/Guest Service Representatives to join our team. We currently have part-time positions available. Must be available weekends and some holidays. This shift is rotating and applicants are required to be available Friday and Saturdays at least 2-3 weekends a month. Shift hours will rotate between 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am. Must be available to work over the summer break. This is a great position for college students! Prefer applicants that can work shifts in a rotating schedule with availability on weekdays, weekends and some holidays. Guest service agent positions will make reservations, check guests in/out of the hotel, answer phones, resolve guests issues, and complete necessary paperwork during the shift.

• Handle guest needs and requests in an expedient and professional manner.
• Effectively communicate all shift information to management and the following shifts.
• Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all guests, staff, and property.
• Must be a team player and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure Uniform and Personal appearance are clean and professional Physical job requirements include:
• Standing for extended periods of time (may be up to 8 hours)
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to bend, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Will be asked to help in laundry whenever needed during the shift.
• Scoop or shovel walkways in winter.
• Clean and take out trash in public areas.
