Job Description

Position Summary The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for all guests and plays a key role in delivering a welcoming, efficient, and professional guest experience. This position is responsible for check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations, payment handling, guest assistance, and maintaining brand standards at all times./ NIGHT AUDITOR Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Services Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival. Perform check‑in and check‑out procedures accurately and efficiently. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and guest services. Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and complaints with a service‑focused attitude. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area. Reservations & Communication Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally. Make, modify, and cancel reservations using the hotel's PMS (Choice
ADVANTAGE
). Communicate clearly with housekeeping, maintenance, and management regarding room status, guest needs, and operational updates. Document all guest interactions, incidents, and important information in shift logs. Payment & Security Collect payment before issuing room keys , following hotel policy. Verify identification, payment methods, and required deposits. Balance cash drawers and complete shift audits accurately. Follow all safety, security, and privacy procedures, including key control and guest information protection. Operational Duties Monitor lobby, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness and safety. Assist with breakfast area setup or restocking when needed. Handle lost and found items according to policy. Support housekeeping and maintenance teams with communication and task coordination. Complete nightly audit tasks (for overnight agents). Qualifications Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Basic computer proficiency; experience with hotel PMS systems is a plus. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed. Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods. Lift up to 20 lbs occasionally. Move between front desk, lobby, and back office areas as needed. Work Environment Professional, guest‑focused hospitality setting. Team‑oriented environment with direct interaction with guests, staff, and management.
Pay:
$12.50 - $13.00 per hour
