Job Description

Lodging Host Hotel Corp. is looking for Front Desk Clerks/Night Auditors for our Best Western Bandera property. Front Desk Clerks serve as our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. Agents also handle purchases from the marketplace and occasional bartending duties, if qualified. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel or service industries, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests. Responsibilities Perform all check-in and check-out tasks Manage online and phone reservations Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay) Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry Experience handling cash and processing payments Familiarity with hotel management software or reservation systems
Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
