This role combines 2 overnight shifts (10PM-6 AM) and 3 evening shifts (2 PM-10 PM) and is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, hands-on hotel environment. Our hotel is older, well-established, and steadily growing . We are a high-occupancy, busy property , not a slow hotel. The right candidate enjoys staying engaged, multitasking, and taking ownership of their shift. Key Responsibilities Provide professional, efficient front desk service during evening and overnight shifts Perform night audit duties accurately and on time Handle guest check ins, check-outs, requests, and concerns Maintain overnight property security and awareness Communicate clearly with management and other shifts Assist with daily operations in a fast-paced environment Cross-train in banquet sales Commission Opportunity After 90 days of banquet sales and contract training , you will earn 10 percent commission on banquet room sales you personally book . Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service during night shifts, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using hotel management software, verifying reservations, and handling billing accurately. Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring all records are precise and complete for accounting purposes. Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills. Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting patrols of public areas, and controlling access to the property. Provide information about hotel amenities and services. Prepare shift reports, incident logs, and other documentation to ensure smooth communication between shifts and departments. Skills Proven experience in hospitality or hotel roles with a focus on night audit or front desk operations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs in a friendly and professional manner. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with a diverse clientele. Excellent knowledge of hotel experience procedures, guest services, and hospitality standards. Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
