Key Responsibilities:
Guest Check-in and Check-out:
- Greet guests upon arrival, manage the check-in process, and ensure all necessary information is obtained. Facilitate a smooth check-out experience by handling billing and payments accurately.
Reservation Management:
- Handle reservations through phone, email, and online booking systems. Update and manage room availability and guest preferences efficiently.
Guest Services:
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a positive attitude and resolve issues efficiently. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions.
Communication:
- Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests and resolve any issues. Relay important information and updates to relevant departments.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage daily reports, maintain accurate guest records, and complete administrative tasks as required. Operate front desk equipment such as phones and computers proficiently.
Security and Safety:
- Monitor guest access and maintain security measures. Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following hotel protocols.
Promotional Activities:
- Inform guests about special promotions, deals, and events at the hotel or in the local area.
