Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest services at our hotel or resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and overall guest satisfaction. Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures Manage reservations via multi-line phone systems and front desk software Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and billing information Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared Perform night audit functions as needed to reconcile daily transactions Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests and vendors Assist in managing guest relations to foster a positive experience throughout their stay Support other front desk operations to ensure smooth hotel functioning Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is advantageous Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to handle night audit procedures and manage guest relations professionally Hospitality or resort experience is a plus but not required Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with hospitality standards
