Director of Housekeeping, Housekeeping Manager, and/or Executive Housekeeper Summary A Lobby or Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and visual appeal of all public spaces within the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other guest-facing areas. This role ensures a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and visitors by performing routine cleaning tasks, responding to service requests, and supporting the overall guest experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and entrances. Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces to ensure a spotless and hygienic environment. Replenish supplies in public restrooms and other guest areas as needed. Respond promptly to guest requests or cleanliness concerns in public spaces. Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards. Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly. Support housekeeping and other departments during peak periods or special events. Uphold hotel standards for cleanliness, presentation, and guest service. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience Less than a high school diploma; previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred in a similar environment.
