We are seeking a very outgoing, confident individual with excellent customer service skills. Great people skills are a must. Because first impressions begin with our front desk staff, we take this position very seriously. Smiling and greeting guests with warmth and hospitality are critical. As a member of our team, you must also be able to manage your time and be confident in your problem solving skills, timeliness, professionalism and accuracy is also imperative. Flexibility is a must. The Guest Service Agent is to provide friendly, efficient registration and information to all guests, fellow employees and visitors. 1.Check guests in 2.Thoroughly complete all guest transactions 3.Maintain an up to date working knowledge of all hotel amenities as well as any special events 4.Promote and sell special hotel programs, special rate packages, and upgrades when appropriate 5.Interact with staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information 6.Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and hotel policies 7.Maintain house bank and handle all cash according to hotel policies and procedures 8.Communicate all pertinent information to the Front Office Managers and Supervisors 9.Follow set procedures on posting,charges,safe deposits and refunds 10. Answer the telephone in a professional manner and assist guests with any questions, directions to the property etc. Excellent oral and communication skills required Able to interact harmoniously with guest and coworkers Good computer skills are required Pleasant telephone demeanor Ability to handle and stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
