As the first point of contact for members and guests, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. This position involves a mix of customer service, administrative duties, and facility oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet members and guests warmly and professionally Check members in using the software system Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area Monitor member check-ins and ensure policies are followed Assist with opening and closing procedures Report facility maintenance issues or member concerns to management Support other staff and assist in light cleaning duties when needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system proficiency Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Working Conditions:
Standing for extended periods Occasional light lifting (up to 25 lbs) May be required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
